Milverton is a beautiful village in the vale of Taunton Deane in Somerset. It is four miles north of Wellington and eight miles west of Taunton, set in a rolling, rural, mainly agricultural landscape. It is served with a general groceries shop (Costcutters), a Post Office, a hairdressers and two pubs, one offering food and accommodation to a high standard. It has excellent links with the M5 being just four and a half miles away and a mainline train station eight miles away. The area is served with two airports, Exeter and Bristol, both with international flights throughout the week. There are three bus services running through the village, the 25 and the 25b (First) and the 9 (Cooks) service. The 25 and 25b alternate on the hour thereby giving the village an hourly service to Taunton, Monday through Saturday, with a Sunday service as well. The 9 service from Cooks coaches provides a service to Wellington and Wiveliscombe throughout the week but not on Sundays.
