Milverton Festival

The Milverton festival/street fair is a very popular event which takes place on the Bank Holiday Monday at the start of May attended by large crowds every year. There are many attractions and stalls to see with performing artists from all over. Anyone who wants a stall for the street fair should use the contact us page on the menu on the left of this page or by clicking here, messages will be forwarded to the organizers. Alternatively, scoot over to www.milvertonfestival.org.uk to find details of events planned and online booking forms for potential stallholders.

On May Day (Monday May 4th 2009) there will be live music, bars and street entertainers.

There will of course be the usual street market on Fore Street, which will be closed to traffic from 8.00am.

80+ stalls will be set up in Fore Street and in the Victoria Rooms. Everything from high class paintings to deep dug plants; from hand made chocolates to hand made soaps.

 

Street Fair

There will be refreshments available in the Victoria Rooms from 10:00am until 4:00pm
Filled rolls, cakes, scones, tea, coffee and squash.
Drinks to take away.
Provided by the Parish Church and Victoria Rooms Committee.

8:00am                       Fore Street closed to traffic

10:00am                     Street Fair opens

11:00am                     Victoria Rooms Forecourt Bar open to public with village piano

2:00pm                       Church tower open

5:00pm                       Street Disco with the Rockin' Rev!
