The Milverton festival/street fair is a very popular event which takes place on the Bank Holiday Monday at the start of May attended by large crowds every year. There are many attractions and stalls to see with performing artists from all over. Traders/sellers who would like a stall for the street fair should click on this link: www.milvertonfestival.org.uk to find details of events planned and online (and printable) booking forms for potential stallholders.
On May Day (Monday May 3rd 2010) there will be live music, bars and street entertainers including Malcolm the balloon man, the Morris dancers and various musicians.
There will of course be the very well stocked and attended street market on Fore Street (which will be closed to traffic from 8.00am).
80+ stalls will be set up in Fore Street and in the Victoria Rooms. Everything from arts and crafts (most by local artists!) to deep dug plants and wonderful food (most home/local produce) to hand made chocolates to hand made soaps.
The Methodist Chapel will also have a local heritage exhibition during the day.
In the evening the Victoria Rooms will host a great evenings entertainment with Eddie Martin's Band. Doors open 8pm and there will be a bar. Tickets are £10.00 each and they are available from Trish Batten on 01823 400416.

There will be refreshments available in the Victoria Rooms, Fore Street and the Methodist Chapel, Silver Street from 10:00am until 4:00pm
