A new temporary bridge was formed in the early hours of March 1st as a large tree came crashing down in high winds in Station Road. The tree fell right across the road between two high walls. As a result a traffic diversion was in place in the village for most of the day while tree clearing operations took place.

Traffic was back to normal later in the day.
